How the bag is built
Starting with 250 gram white cardstock, the bag weighs heavier than typical retail bags, so when a full bottle sits inside, the sides stay straight and the bottom won't sag. Fine detail prints well on this smooth stock. At the creases there's no cracking or peeling when foil stamping is applied.
A metallic layer goes on the outside via hot stamping, and then UV coating seals it for a glossy, scratch-resistant surface. The rope handles, which are anchored through the cardstock rather than merely glued on, keep the bag secure whether you carry it or set it on a counter.
How the bottle sits
Made for one standard wine bottle, the bag uses a universal card slot liner to hold the base and stop the bottle from leaning on the wall. We check fit on every production run: the bag is shaken for 10 seconds, tilted to 45 degrees, then inverted, and there can be no movement, sliding, or release. Control tolerance for the insert is plus or minus 1 mm, and for the bag body it's plus or minus 2 mm. That way even rough handling in a retail display or gift basket won't let the bottle rattle around.
Where it works best
It fits wine gifting, retail shelf presentation, and promotional events. Given the foil and UV finish, it matches premium or limited-release bottles well. The bottle opener liner hides a small surprise ideal for corporate gifts or holiday sets. But for shipping bottles through courier networks, choose another option because the cardstock isn't a shipping box and it wasn't designed for that. Multi-bottle orders or heavier spirits call for a box-and-bag set or a different structure.

Can I get this bag in a different size for a larger bottle?
The size can definitely be customized. Give us your bottle dimensions or a sample and we'll adjust the cardstock and liner while keeping the structure identical, so the new bottle stays secure. A blank sample comes first for you to check the fit before printing starts.
Does the foil stamping scratch off easily?
The UV coating, sitting over the foil, guards against light scratches and handling in normal retail or gift use without rubbing off, and keeps the finish consistent through first-article approval and mid-run sampling on every order.
Is the bottle opener liner removable?
Being separate, you can remove the liner card insert and the bag still works as a simple carrier. What if you need a felt pad or a plain card slot instead? We can make that change by adjusting the design based on what you tell us.
